Therapy is more than just talking about your problems. It is co-creating new ways to experience the world, in your thoughts, body, and emotions. We will work together, using evidence-based approaches, to help you learn coping strategies, process past events and create your authentic life. I work from an overall frame of mindfulness, incorporating other orientations in as needed including: sensorimotor, internal family systems therapy, CBT and solution-focused therapies. There is a unique blend for which I will strive to uncover. The relationship is the most important part, so bring yourself and I will be here.

The most important part of individual counselling is that you feel comfortable, safe and welcomed; I will strive to make this the truth for you. There are many different ways to approach therapy, not all of them serious, and we will strive to find the unique blend that is best for you. I am passionate about working with people who are experiencing the impacts of attachment wounds and trauma. My primary focus for the last couple of years has been sexual violence, childhood sexual abuse, and sexual assault. However, I have developed skills that are transferable to other types of trauma or troubling life events that have occurred during childhood or adulthood. Trauma and Yoga consultation

I believe that yoga has the ability to help people listen to their bodies and ideally find safety in their themselves. I want to be able to provide Yoga studio and teachers a place to learn about trauma and how they can be supportive in the healing of their clients.
